  7. How to install PM Demo?
  8. 1. Copy following files to windows directory.
  9.         pm.exe        ; TSR ... must be executed before running windows
  10.         pmsaver.scr   ; screen saver file
  11. 2. At DOS prompt execute (run) pm.exe.
  12.         pm  <return>
  13.    Following massage will be displayed upon TSR loading:
  14.         "Loading 542X Power Management TSR for Windows, V.1.04W...
  15.          Copyright, 1993 CIRRUS LOGIC INC. "
  16. 3. Run windows.
  17. 4. From "MAIN" group, execute "CONTROL PANEL".
  18. 5. From "CONTROL PANEL" group, execute "DESKTOP".
  19. 6. Select "DISPLAY POWER MANAGER" from Screen Saver menu.
  20. 7. Setup will provide multiple options.
  21.         * Screen Saver  ... standard screen saver (NO power saving)
  22.         * Standby Mode  ... reserved by VESA for future use
  23.         * Suspand Mode  ... Active HSYNC, Inactive VSYNC 
  24.         * Power Off     ... Inactive HSYNC and VSYNC (Most power saving mode)
